HCG Round Two
Last month I tried the HCG1234 diet and had really decent success with it. My only problem was that I did not anticipate my fibromyalgia, so when I had a random flare up that used fatigue to kick my tail, I had to quit the diet because I didn't have the ability to get out of bed let alone get into the kitchen to prepare easy (but specific) meals.
So after taking a few weeks to really prepare this time, I started it up again this morning. Spent several hours in the kitchen preparing ready to eat freezer meals that way if another flare up happens, I'll be ready for it.
So far so good, though I didn't expect it to be otherwise. The only problem I ever had on the diet last time was the cravings (and I think that had as much to do with hormones as it did my obvious addiction to carbs). I was never really hungry, but I missed the action of eating. Munching on snacks (even healthy ones) while watching television and eating at certain times.
After I quit the diet I relished in eating my beloved carbs again and snacking whenever I felt like it. But I also noticed that despite the fact I still ate fairly healthy (except the occasional bowl of dip my sister and I would polish off while watching marathons of Glee) I felt horrible. My stomach was always feel gross, I lacked energy (and in a different way than my fibro related fatigue) and just and overall feeling of gross that I never felt while on the diet.
Hopefully that'll be reason enough to tackle the cravings this time around.
Also, I've finally uploaded the PDF of all the information I put together about the HCG1234. It's a summary of a lot of the info you can find on their website. I have this printed out and posted in my home to remind me and to track my progress.
