So for those who are friends with me on Facebook, you saw my crazy rant last night, if not, then well . . .
I got an email from a reader about a month ago saying how much she loved my Untypically in Love series, but there were two chapters missing. I went to check and yep, right there where my love story once was, was a page error saying "This Post No Longer Exists".
I complained to Blogger asking for help and heard nothing back for almost a month. Then yesterday I decided to run a broken link checker on my blog and suddenly I realised that over 35 posts were missing! Some very important, some fairly common - but all mine.
Needless to say, my words to Blogger were less than patient and I immediately started wondering if free Wordpress was worth losing my design and other things over.
This morning I woke up to someone finally replying to my issue with a decent fix. They found an old RSS feed of mine before I changed my URL that goes back to 2008. So I'm now manually re-posting all the missing blog posts (and finding so many more in the process).
I'm telling you all this because sometimes I forget to immediately back date the post, which will mean it'll show up in your feed reader and might not make a lick of sense. So for that I apologise and I'll try to make sure I double check things.
Update: Okay, I think all the missing posts are back. And by back I mean that I had to go in and re-write them. Which still means that there will be broken links throughout my archive. Which sucks. But that's going to need to be a project for another day. I've got guest posts to schedule for the next two weeks while I'm out of town, a family reunion to prepare and pack for, and at some point in the day I may want to actually eat.
