I want to host a link up / blog hop here on my blog.
This idea came about because the past few weeks I haven't been posting as often as I used to. I think it's because I'm having a medium mental illness level. When I'm on a high, I want to post silly things or inspirational stories or conversations I've had with my husband. When I'm on a low, I want to post the truth, the nitty gritty, because I need to record things like that; both for myself and for others who need to know they aren't alone.
But when I'm on a medium level, I pretty much just want to paint my nails, dye my hair and watch Deadliest Catch in between loads of laundry.
But this blog isn't just about me recording my ups and downs. It's also about my readers. And I want to involve others. I want you to have a weekly place to link up your blog posts and showcase your lives, businesses and victories.
I would suggest linking up hilarious posts, but Anna and Kelley beat me to it.

Well I host a blog hop that is a writing prompt! I'd love to see more of those! It could be a question, a photo, a word...something like that!
I like link parties that ask the blogger to link their one favorite post from the week. Then you get a cross section of good posts about a lot of different topics. I have been trying to get a link party going that's twice a month that has a writing prompt. I have a few awesome dedicated participants, but it has been very slow going in terms of getting others to join.
