A giant kangaroo mouse has infiltrated our home.
Matt says she's a chihuahua . . . but I think a DNA test will be required for stronger evidence that she's not related to some form of marsupial.
Either way. She's stolen our hearts.
And the space beneath my computer.
And the recliner.
And the couch.
We call her Sookie.
Today Sookie is 5 months old.
"Five more minutes, Mom . . ."
She clearly doesn't understand how things work around here.

No it's a rare batdog! Look at the ears. You won't have to worry about insects with her around, she'll hear them from miles around.

No way, in comparison to our old Chihuahua, her ears are tiny! I think she's part parrot. She likes to perch on my shoulder.

OMG. She's sooo cute. We have a Chihuahua and he's just such an amazing little guy. He brings us so much joy! I hope you find just as much joy in your household from Sookie as we do from our little Dexter.

oh my goodness, what a cutie! those ears are crazy...it's gotta be something more than chihuahua. we had a chihuahua/jack russell mix, and she was quite the pistol!
