I Be Cruisin Mon

I've written about ten different posts talking about this subject, but then I'd look at my blog and realise how disorganized it all looks, and I'd spend the rest of the day in HTML. So I've changed my blog layout again, we'll see how long this one sticks around.

Anyways . . .

So I won't be here for the next 7-10 days. Why? Because Matt and I will be on a cruise! Our very first cruise and hopefully not our last. Billy and Tish invited us to go on a Cruise to Mexico with them about a month ago, and we've been in preparation ever since.

We leave tomorrow for Texas and will set sail Saturday afternoon to who knows where.

That's right, as of right now we have no idea where we're headed. That's because we were going to Cozumel and Progresso, but apparently there's something going on. People are sick and pigs are flying or something. I'll still be eating bacon on the boat for the record.

Anyways, Carnival Cruise Line has yet to tell us where our boat is going instead. We could just spend the whole time out at sea, which would be fine with me, I hate walking as it is. Or we could end up in the Florida Keys, the Cayman Islands or Jamaica mon. Personally I think that this is a big cover up by the government. There are no flying pigs, but they've chosen several of the most awesome and sexy people in the world to load on a boat and sail them off to what I can only imagine would be the Bermuda Triangle to repopulate the earth while the rest of society enjoys the downfall of western culture, economic crisis . . . or are eaten by flying carnivorous pigs.

I'm cool with it. Bermuda Triangle is in the Bahamas right? No?

I'm crossing my fingers for Jamaica to be honest. Tish and I want to get seashells braided into our hair.

Either way, I get to go on a boat, gain 10 pounds (it's a goal, not a caution), and not have to clean anything for a whole week!

So come back next week and hopefully I'll have pictures of paradise . . . unless the pigs find us.

Update: We're going to the Grand Cayman Islands AND Montego Bay, Jamaica. Because of the swine flu, our cruise was upgraded to a 7 day cruise instead of 5!

Oh girl I was worried when you said Mexico, but happy to hear you were upgraded, how cool!

Also I bet your boarding out of Galveston, Texas. This is close to me. Take care and have a fab trip!

Wow, I love the new layout! It's awesome - but where did your face go?

And I'm glad you won't see any flying pigs...you're probably right about the re-populating the earth with awesome and sexy people thing, except I'm not going, so...maybe not...

Have fun and post lots of pictures!
